GoFundMe simplifies charitable giving in Canada

GoFundMe is excited to announce a new feature for our Canadian users: the launch of charity platform fundraising in Canada.
We’re partnering with PayPal Giving Fund Canada to make it easy for Canadians to create or donate to a certified charity campaign on GoFundMe, making charitable giving more accessible than ever before.
Canada is recognized as one of the most generous countries, and we see this every day on GoFundMe with 1 in 12 Canadians donating to a GoFundMe. Now, we’re making it easier than ever for Canadians to support their favourite charities online, and give charities a fundraising tool to engage new donors and unlock the power of social fundraising.
It’s to set up a charity fundraiser (standard payment processing fees still apply) with donations received by PayPal Giving Fund and disbursed directly to eligible charities.
