<div>A month later, on the 14th of November, Me and my wife including my children, Arwa 5 years old, Karam 4 years old and Ayla the

<div>We were all living in a house with our relatives' family in Rafah.
One apartment in which was housing 32 family members. With hopes that the war would end as soon as
possible so that we all could return to our homes and live our lives as they were before.
However the big shock came on December 14, 2023, when I was at the market and hearing a huge explosion and seeing the dust of the explosion rising near the building we were living at the moment.<br />

<div>In panic I rushed towards the building finding the house to which my
family had fled to seeking refuge and safety, had been blown and destroyed over their corpses and the people in it.<br />

<div>That day, I lost both of my mother and father, my sister, my wife and my son &amp; daughters, my brothers' wives &amp; their
children and my aunts.
They were only 6 survivors who survived that bombing but were left with severe injuries.
My older brother Ali, suffered burns to his face, limbs and fractures in his right knee.<br />

<div>My nephew had a head injury, which I found him by chance two days after the bombing in the intensive care unit, needing medical and cosmetic follow-up.<br />

<div>what had happened, as if it were a nightmare that I was living until this moment.

<div>We had nothing to sleep on or cover ourselves

<div>with, despite the injuries, pain, and harsh winter <span>weather</span>

<div>Even getting a loaf of bread takes effort and

<div>hours of waiting in line at the bakery

<div>Today my brothers and I take care of each other <span>under very harsh conditions. The </span>

<div>war is still going on and there is no safe haven for us

</div>

<div>We have lost everything



</div>

<div>Therefore, we decided to move from this place in <span>search of safety.</span>

<div><span>To save the last surviving persons in my family,</span>

<div>have launched this urgent fundraising campaign.

<div>The only current way to escape Gaza safely into <span>Egypt is to pay a fee to Hala an Egyptian agency </span><span>operating in Rafah. </span>

<div><span>Every child coasts $3000 </span><span>every man $12000. Hala's prices are not fixed and </span><span>have been rising exponentially since the start of </span><span>the war in October.  </span><span>This also does not take into</span>

<div>account travel costs, healthcare costs, fees to pay <span>Egyptian officials, emergency food and shelter </span><span>costs, and any other costs associated with the </span><span>evacuation. It is a lot to ask, but any help brings us </span><span>closer to being able to save my family.</span>

<div>evacuation costs. They will paid to Hala

<div>Consulting &amp; Tourism the Egyptian company

<div>which runs transportation in and out of Gaza. | will <span>provide updates here on the process. The</span>

<div>donation goal will cover the current Hala fee for

<div>every person, healthcare checks, transportation <span>costs from Rafah to Cairo and a small and short </span><span>temporary fund for living costs. Any extra </span><span>donations will be used for resettlement and other </span><span>evacuation costs.</span>
