<div>I just signed a lease for a shared bedroom at an off-campus apartment complex called Union Grantville. While I am proud of securing my first apartment, I’ve run into a financial obstacle. <strong>I need to pay a security deposit and the first rent payment by August 1st, both $855 each, totaling $1710. </strong>Although I am fortunate to receive financial aid from SDSU, it won’t be disbursed to me until mid-August, after the August 1st deadline. Adding to this challenge, I have very limited funds right now. Like many of my fellow college graduates, I was struggling to secure a job earlier this year, causing me to use my savings to put food on the table and pay for essential needs. This created a financial gap I need to close before the big move.
