Our campaign was a success and we were able to help Mark get his buddy, Ramon, enrolled into a bike camp that teaches people with disabilites how to ride a 2-wheel bike.
Most of us take for granted how easy it is to do simple everyday tasks. For individuals with motor planning and balance disabilities riding a bike is very difficult. Mark believes that being able to ride a bike is a dream most kids hold in their hearts. It is a childhood rite of passage. He too has a disability and was able to attend camp last year. He wanted to share his love of riding with others!
We want to keep this GoFundMe page open so that we can send antoher child or 2, or 3! to camp next year. Please consider donating so that another child can see his or her dreams of riding two wheels a reality!

Hi my name is Mark . I was born with a severe neurolgoical disorder that effects my speech and my ability to motor plan my body movements. However despite all odds, last summer I finally learned to ride a 2 wheel bike!!! Dr.s said I probably never would. I am 11 and I am living with Apraxia and it is HARD!! But this story isn't about me.
This story is about my buddy Ramon. He was born with a different disibilty. He has Wolfram's disease. Because of this disease Ramon is deaf and has diabetes. He will someday most likely loose his sight and his nervous system will begin to shut down his body's ability to move and he will suffer from seizures.
I told you earlier that I can now ride a bike. I learned to ride through an amazing camp called ican SHINE! I really want to help my best friend learn to ride a 2 wheel bike before its too late. I am trying to raise money so he too can go to camp and learn! It is my dream that we could some day ride together. The picture I posted is of Ramon and his family. You can see Ramon is the only kid that isn't on a bike. He DESERVES a chance at learning to ride a bike and enjoy rides with his family like I am able to do now.
Will you help me? I would appreciate ANY amount of donation to get him a spot in the camp. Do you remember when you first learned to ride a bike as a kid? It was an amzing feeling right! I want my friend to experience that same feeling! He can ride a 2 wheel bike just like me. He just needs the help!
