Help fix Chris' teeth

Hello everyone,
My name is Chris Nelson, i'm currently 22 years old and I have a problem. My teeth are not in the best shape, let me tell you why. Growing up, my whole family has had dental problems, mom, dad, brothers and sisters. Being a kid i didn't take brushing or flossing seriously, nor were my parents strict on it or ever told us too. The last time I can remember actually smiling was back in 6th grade. Thats over 10 years of hiding my teeth from the world, being so embarressed or never wanting to talk to people because i was afraid of them making fun of me or being grossed out. My family was never able to afford dental care for 4 kids, so we never went. I come from a family who had little to no money at all sometimes, we moved around a lot, every few months or so. That was the hardest part. Since I got a job i've had some work done, but not enough. When i went to the dentist in 2012 for a quote on how much it would be to get work done, I didnt think it would be anywhere near what the price is. I could buy a brand new car for how much its going to cost me, over 14,000 dollars for everything to be done. Thats every single tooth in my mouth needing work done to it. being 20 years old, how am i supposed to come up with 14k dollars? They said if I had half they'd start the work, but 7k? It crushed me, I just wanted to break down and cry right there. So thats why im here, asking for help. It's time for A change, It's time to feel better about myself and have confidence. It's time for a new Chris, A better one. I can't thank my friends and family enough for the support they've given me, but most of all, my girlfriend Jessica. Without her, my life would be complete hell. Shes the most amazing and important girl in my life. She accepts me for me, and doesn't judge me based on my looks, teeth, on anything. She loves me for who i am and supports me in ways no one else has. She loves taking pictures, she has A beautiful smile. When we take pictures I have to do this awkward smile, with my lips because I dont want to embarress her in front of her friends, family. I dont want to cover up myself anymore, i want to walk around with a smile on my face all the time. I want to be proud and feel good. Thanks to whoever took the time to read this.
