So, here's the thing. Some of you have asked if Modern Soul Sauce ever thought about putting out a compilation album?

Truth is, over the past 3 years, we have; however, to do it, we would need first to choose the #ModSoul Stars and also pay them a fair royalty to use their music on a CD, and that takes this fund-raiser.

Here's the way we plan to do it:

1. Allow YOU to VOTE for your favorite #ModSoul Stars - we've featured over *** 280 artists *** and it's impossible for us to choose!  You can do so in Tweets to us, Facebook, anywhere.  Just let us know.

2.  For the Top 12 requested artists, we would then reach out and attempt to secure the mechanical rights from their labels.

3. We use our base funding, together with yours from this campaign, to create the CD.

4. We place the CD on the market for all to purchase and enjoy, with a portion of the proceeds going back to support those same independent artists, and the remainder to support emerging new talent on the show.
