Sadly, I cannot share photos with you of the women that have come to me
in confidence breaking their silence to seek hope, and a way out through prayer and counsel. These women live each day in increasing despair, which presses open the wounds of
unimaginable pain both physical and emotional, generating crisis, and suffering in a prison of violence shrouded in silence.
There are so many that come to me broken and shattered in need of ministry and prayer. However, for those that are living through the nightmare of domestic violence their immediate need is their safety. They need a way out, which requires housing, food and emergency medical assistance.
It is amazing how the devil is always busy trying to keep people in bondage and uses the jealousy, anger and envy of others to attempt to block the good works of those that truly care. But the GoOD News is we have the Victory because God is in it, and nothing and no one can outwit, outmatch, out give or out Love God.
Please understand my passion in the request I make of you today.
I suffered through 4 years of domestic violence 27 years ago, barely surviving an almost fatal punch resulting in a triple compound fracture in my face requiring reconstructive surgery after being hit like I was in a boxing match.
You see Domestic Violence is very real, and the worst problem is feeling no one cares enough about you to help, or worse feeling so much shame that you are afraid to talk about what you are suffering through.
If we are all waiting for someone else to do what we know Spirit is leading us to do, then God's work will never get done and we miss the opportunity to open the windows of heaven for our own blessing.
