<div>We are Juan Carlos and Carolina, Valeria’s parents. Our 13-year-old daughter has been fighting a tough battle for the past nine months against a rare disease called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), which causes her severe chronic pain in her left leg, along with a rapidly progressing disability. Today, Valeria relies on a wheelchair, and each day is a new challenge for her.

<div>She has undergone surgeries, intensive treatments, therapies, and medications. Although she has recently felt a very slight relief, the road to recovery is still long. The next medical procedure is crucial, but our health insurance isn’t covering any of it. Nor does it cover the special physical therapies or psychological treatment that our daughter needs at this time

<div>Somos Juan Carlos y Carolina, los papás de Valeria. Nuestra hija de 13 años enfrenta desde hace nueve meses una dura batalla contra una rara enfermedad llamada Síndrome de Dolor Regional Complejo (CRPS), que le causa un dolor crónico severo en su pierna izquierda, además de una discapacidad que ha avanzado rápidamente.

<div>Hoy, Valeria depende de una silla de ruedas y cada día es un nuevo reto para ella. Ha pasado por cirugías, tratamientos intensivos, terapias y medicamentos. Aunque recientemente ha sentido un leve alivio, el camino hacia su recuperación aún es largo. El próximo procedimiento médico es crucial, pero el seguro medico no esta cubriendo nada.
