<div>Al nacer, una omisión médica casi me arrebata la vida y cambió por completo el rumbo de mi destino. Un mal manejo en mis niveles de bilirrubina provocó un daño neurológico llamado Kernicterus —una condición 100% prevenible— que afectó gravemente mi desarrollo.

<div>Este daño ha traído consigo muchos retos que enfrento cada día:

<div> En lo motriz, tengo parálisis cerebral con cuadriparesia espástica. Esto significa que mi cuerpo tiene una rigidez constante y movimientos involuntarios que no puedo controlar. No puedo caminar, sentarme solo ni moverme con libertad.

<div> En lo auditivo, tengo hipoacusia bilateral profunda. Gracias al uso de auxiliares auditivos, estamos trabajando para estimular mi nervio auditivo y buscar alguna respuesta que me permita escuchar el mundo que me rodea.
</div>
<div> En lo digestivo, tengo alteraciones en la deglución. Los alimentos y líquidos a veces se van por la vía equivocada, lo que provoca infecciones respiratorias frecuentes, como neumonías, y una acumulación de secreciones que me han llevado a estar hospitalizado en múltiples ocasiones.

<div>A pesar de todo, tengo una gran sonrisa, muchas ganas de vivir y unos papás que han hecho todo lo posible por darme lo mejor. Sin embargo, los gastos médicos son demasiado altos, y ahora necesitamos de tu ayuda.
