#TeamJerame got Lungs!

As some of you know my brother Jerame has received the greatest gift you can get, a new set of lungs! Jerame has battled Cystic Fibrosis his entire life, the last year we have been experiencing the highs and lows of the disease. The only option he had to lead a better life was to be put on the transplant list for a double lung transplant. 66 days later on Monday July 30th he received the call that would change everything. By midnight on the 31st they began the 12 hour process of removing his old lungs and replacing them with the new lungs. After a painstaking overnight of no sleep full of worry, we received word that things went well, and Jer was off to ICU to begin recovering. 48 hours later he was off the ventilator, and today he has been upgraded and moved out of the ICU! Words cannot describe how thankful we are to the donor and their family.  Jerame has a long road to recovery which could take up to 6 months before he is able to be fully independent again, I am asking for donations on behalf of my brother Jerame and his wife Jenny. The money raised will help with gas for the many trips to and from the hospital, food, and the unforeseen medical costs that will inevitably arise.
