Run to give a boy a chance to

Donation protected
Last year I had a great time challenging my limits whilst also raising just on £4000 for a brilliant charity. I have continued training hard and ready to push my limits even further in 2018. I have some serious challenges some of which are back to back within 6 days of each other. Whilst I am pushing myself I have decided to try and raise some more money for a good cause and ask that over the year you manage to find some spare change to throw in. You may know Andy Grant from the amazing documentary ‘paragon’who I have had the pleasure to meet recently. He has done amazing things since losing a leg in Afghanistan and he is trying to give a local lad the chance of doing the same in the future. Young Mark who is 18 months old was born with Fibular Hemimelia and faces life as an amputee.

With the vulnerability of the NHS Mark’s family are obviously worried about what the future has in store with regards to funding. As such I have decided to help Andy raise as much as possible with all money raised going towards providing Mark with the best possible prosthetic legs and running blades as he grows up. As you can imagine he will need many of them as he grows.

Hopefully this will inspire Mark to believe in himself and realise there is nothing he cannot achieve.

Being able to run has given me so many great memories over the last couple of years and I hope I can help give the same to someone who deserves it more than me
