<div>El Gato de Alicia no es solo una biblioteca.

<div>Es nuestro hogar, nuestro trabajo y un espacio donde, desde el 2014 que se fundó, hemos abierto las puertas a la lectura, la filosofía y la búsqueda de sentido.

<div>Somos una familia que decidió vivir entre libros.
</div>
<div>Hace más de 8 años nos mudamos de Campeche con más de 3000 ejemplares para crear este espacio en Mérida, Yucatán. Aquí hemos dado talleres, acompañado procesos personales y construido una comunidad en torno al pensamiento, la literatura y la reflexión profunda.

<div>Durante la pandemia, este proyecto logró sostenerse gracias a los talleres en línea y al apoyo de muchas personas. Con ese esfuerzo, pudimos mantener viva la biblioteca.

<div>Hoy enfrentamos un nuevo reto:

<div>una mudanza que implica volver a empezar en muchos sentidos.

<div>¿Para qué necesitamos el apoyo?

<div>Queremos volver a hacer habitable y funcional este espacio, no solo como casa, sino como biblioteca y lugar de encuentro.

<div>Hemos hecho un cálculo realista, considerando únicamente lo necesario.

<div>Este proyecto no cuenta con subvenciones ni apoyos institucionales.

<div>Ha sido sostenido, desde el inicio, por nuestro propio trabajo… y por las personas que creen en lo que hacemos.

<div>En un mundo donde muchas veces se pierde el sentido, creemos que es necesario defender espacios donde todavía se pueda pensar, leer, cuestionar y encontrarse con lo esencial.
