Hello!
My name is Isabella (Bella) Burns!
Some of you may or may not know that I am currently attending Torchbearers Capernwray Australia Bible school, taking the BDM 1(Bible, Disciplehsip, Missions)program. And what a journey it has been! Since the moment I arrived God has been showing me so much, from an amazing community and his wonderous love, to showing me how much I need Him in my life. Over the past months I have walked through the Old Testament, picked aparted Genises, learned my temperament and realized that I am a daughter of God and He has chosen me, and I am loved by Him and those around me. I have learned what it means to live in community, how to truly live the life of a Christian and so, so much more to come. I have met the most amazing friends and mentors who have helped lead and grow me in my on-going journey here. With all this God has put it on my heart to continue this journey of learning and growing in Him, by attending the Aussie Road Trip that the school offers with 6 other students, and to then attend the second semester, BDM 2, this upcoming September. Before I go on, I want to explain further why I have decided to continue my journey here.
Before I came to Capernwray I was in a real low in my faith, and when I came to Capernwray I have realized how much I have let it drop. I want to continue learning more about God and how to live the Christian life before I go back home to Canada. I want a solid and firm foundation in Him and my faith. So in doing the Road Trip and BDM 2 I am adding more tools to my spiritual belt and harding my foundation in Christ. Unfortunately I do not have the funds to attend BDM 2, so I am asking for financial support to go where God is leading me.
My goal is to reach around $6000. I will always be working during my break to help chip off some money, so any donation from small to big is precious to me. I want to thank you for your support before I left and during my time here. Whether that was through money, taking the time to figure out the time zones so we can talk, or just encouraging me and wishing me luck, and liking all my instagram posts! You are all amazing.
