<div>Los pasados meses mi mamá ha estado entrando y saliendo del hospital de nuevo.

<div>En octubre de 2022 después de una semana de hospitalización, distintos estudios y una cirugía, lograron detectar a mi mamá, Rocío Castillo, cáncer avanzado en el estómago.

<div>Al ser referida con el oncólogo y tras un par de estudios más, se le detectó con un tipo de cáncer distinto en la mama, por lo cual se le realizó una segunda cirugía, una mastectomía.

<div>Tuvimos la fortuna de a pesar de algunas complicaciones verla recuperarse, sin embargo, la recuperación no es siempre lineal, y nos vemos en momentos difíciles otra vez.

<div>Mi mamá no tiene seguro de gastos médicos mayores, solo seguro social, y la realidad es que desafortunadamente las atenciones y la inmediatez que se requiere no es la mejor. Por eso, desde su primer diagnóstico hace un poco más de 2 años, los gastos de su enfermedad (cirugías, hospitalizaciones, quimioterapias, procedimientos, transfusiones, estudios, medicamentos y demás) han corrido por nuestra parte.

<div>Realmente no quisiéramos encontrarnos en esta posición de nuevo, pero los gastos nos están alcanzando más rápido de lo que podemos proveer.
