Dear Friends and Family, It is with deep sadness to be able to articulate a loss in the family. We just recently found out that on June 20, 2020, our family lost Luz Elena Acosta. A sister, a mother, a daughter, and a friend; her loss comes with extreme pain to every single person that knew her. Luz was a firecracker, a unique person, just trying to make the most out of any situation that life threw at her. At age 33, she leaves us too soon to know how much she meant to every single one of us. I am creating a GoFundMe, in order to assist with the financial burden of the funeral and any expenses that it entitles. Our family is grieving, and I wholeheartedly want to ask for help from the community to assist us with the process of getting through this difficult life circumstance. Any donations will be received with the utmost gratitude from our family. During these difficult times, I know that we have all been impacted by COVID-19, so I only ask for help from friends and family that have the means to. We as a family, appreciate any help we can get. Recientemente descubrimos que el 20 de junio de 2020, nuestra familia perdió a Luz Elena Acosta. Una hermana, una madre, una hija y una amiga; su pérdida llega con un dolor extremo a todas las personas que la conocieron. Luz era un cuete, una persona única, que intentaba aprovechar al máximo cualquier situación que la vida le arrojara. A los 33 años, nos deja demasiado pronto para saber cuánto significaba para cada uno de nosotros. Estoy creando un GoFundMe, para ayudar con la carga financiera del funeral y los gastos que nos corresponden. Nuestra familia está afligida y de todo corazón quiero pedir ayuda a la comunidad para ayudarnos con el proceso de superar esta difícil situación de la vida.
