The Red Rose School in Kibera

In March, I will be climbing mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. After my climb, I will be visiting the sister school of my current middle school, East Side Middle School in New York. The Red Rose School is a school in Kibera, the second largest urban slum in Africa.  Since it is in a slum, the Red Rose School does not qualify for Government funding and realies solely on donations.
