Hurricane Dorian Relief Supply Initiative

As many of you know Hurricane Dorian hit our Northern Bahamian Islands of Abaco & Grand Bahama as a CAT 5 and absolutely devastated communities.
I am Anna DeGregory and I own, along with my husband Colin, an import business, Nine To Five Import LTD. We are born and raised Bahamians and are utilizing our import company to get critical need items from the Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau Bahamas. Please see below on how you can help and what our needs are!
So many wonderful people from all over the world have been coming together to offer aid and assistance. We have set up an initiative that has been incredibly successful getting persons to donate critical need items that we are distributing via the Bahamas Red Cross .
We have an Amazon Wishlist that anyone from all over the world can shop and ship the items directly to our hanger in Ft. Lauderdale and we are shipping via ocean freight and also by plane.

There is a high cost to getting these items from Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau and then from Nassau to the affected islands. There are plane and pilot, fuel and landing costs and flight diversions and ocean freight costs. As you can imagine this cost is high and right now we are absorbing this 100% and are hoping to receive some assistance to help offset this.
To give you examples:
1 container or 18 pallets to ship ocean freight is $3,300
5 pallets to fly is $2200
If we fly freight over and do a flight diversion to take supplies from Nassau to Abaco it is an additional cost of $150- $250 per pallet.
We have a tremendous amount of items coming in, which we are THRILLED about, but we need your help to offset this cost so that we can continue this initiative and get these critical need items to those who are in desperate need!
