<div>Den 8 april 2025 totalförstördes vårt garage i en brand. Allt Johan hade byggt upp under 17 år gick upp i rök. Hans första bil – en BMW M5 replika från 1990, SFRO-registrerad och älskad i hela bilcommunityn – blev till aska. Verktyg, maskiner, reservdelar, tillbehör – allt han ägde inom sitt största intresse är borta.

<div>Trots försäkring täcks inte mer än en bråkdel av den faktiska förlusten. Vi begärde 92 000 kr i ersättning för lösöret ( faktiskt värde 170 000 kr) men fick besked om att bara 16 300 kr ersätts efter självrisk. Det är knappt en början på att kunna bygga upp något nytt. Vi vet ännu inte vad som händer med ersättningen för bilen – men hoppet är lågt efter detta.

<div>Johan har lagt hela sitt hjärta i den här bilen. Den var inte bara ett projekt – den var hans passion, hans terapi, hans stolthet. 2023 visades bilen på Elmia, där den hyllades som en ledstjärna i M5-communityn. Nu är allt borta.

<div>Jag vill inget hellre än att hjälpa honom tillbaka till det han älskar mest – att bygga, meka och köra. Men jag klarar det inte själv.

<div>Vi har satt ett mål på 75 000 kr – den summa som försäkringen inte täcker. De pengarna kommer gå till nya verktyg, maskiner och tillbehör, så Johan kan börja om från noll.

<div>Help Johan Rebuild His Life's Project – After the Fire
</div>
<div>On April 8th, 2025, our garage was destroyed in a fire. Everything Johan had built over the past 17 years went up in flames. His first car – a 1990 BMW M5 replica, SFRO-registered and beloved in the car enthusiast community – is now nothing but ashes. Tools, machines, parts, accessories – everything he owned related to his biggest passion is gone.

<div>Despite being insured, the compensation doesn’t even come close to covering the real loss. We requested 92,000 SEK for the contents alone( actual worth 170 000 SEK ), but were told we would receive only 16,300 SEK after the deductible. That’s nowhere near enough to start rebuilding. We’re still waiting to hear about compensation for the car – but after this, hope is fading.

<div>Johan put his heart and soul into this car. It wasn’t just a project – it was his passion, his therapy, his pride. In 2023, the car was showcased at Elmia, one of Sweden’s top car shows, and praised as a standout in the M5 community. Now, it’s all gone.

<div>All I want is to help him get back to doing what he loves most – working on cars. But I can’t do it alone.
</div>

<div>That’s why I’m turning to you – anyone who understands what this means – to help me help Johan.

<div>We've set a goal of 75,000 SEK (about $7,000 USD) – the amount not covered by insurance. The money will go towards new tools, machines, and supplies so Johan can start again from scratch.
