Help Steve Lever fight his battle

Dear Friends,
As many of you are aware our dear friend Steve Lever was diagnosed with skin cancer in September 2017, the skin cancer rapidly made it’s way to a lymph node and surrounding tissue. Steve has undergone numerous biopsies and surgeries to remove the tumors and despite the recent positive news of no new detectable tumors he is not yet in the safe zone. Steve has to undergo radiotherapy and possibly chemotherapy imminently.
To all of you who know Steve, he is fiercely independent and asks nothing from anyone. So we his friends are asking for help. Steve has always had medical insurance, due to a recent change in insurance policies the new insurer has rejected Steve’s claim after diagnosis, and they will not be covering any associated medical costs. Steve has had a lawyer look into the policy to ensure there was no oversight and unfortunately there is no circumnavigating this unfortunate situation. To date, Steve has managed to self-fund all his treatment but has reached a point where help would ensure he receives the medical treatment he deserves & his wife and children will be able to manage without any consistent income for the recovery period. Steve and his family have decided to travel back to the Uk for medical assistance as the self-funding is no longer a viable option in Thailand. Steve has a beautiful wife, Jeab and two wonderful children, Caden and Kaylee, Steve is the sole provider for his family and not only has extortionate medical expenses but travel and family expenses to support.
If being dealt the cancer card isn’t bad enough, having the extra stress and worry of not being covered by medical insurance and having to sustain a family whilst trying to recover would take its toll on the strongest of us.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or how small, every penny counts. If you cannot donate please send good wishes and a lot of love instead. All donations will be used directly for medical costs & for basic necessities for the children’s during this difficult time. We will be posting updates on Stephen’s progress and treatment.
