<div>Ciao, sono Leonardo e vivo in Sicilia.

<div>L'estate 2023 è stata una delle più calde di sempre e, come se non bastasse, l'isola è stata martoriata da centinaia di incendi. Tra le giornate del 24 e del 27 Luglio, le temperature sono salite fino a 47 ºC e, nella sola provincia di Palermo, sono stati bruciati più di 15 mila ettari di terreno. Nel solo anno 2023, gli incendi hanno distrutto più di 60 mila ettari in Sicilia (di cui il 20% foreste).

<div>L'emergenza è proseguita per tutta l'estate fino ad Ottobre inoltrato, rendendo l'emergenza ancora più estenuante e grave.

<div>Ogni anno l’emergenza incendi si aggrava rendendo la prevenzione e la riforestazione imprescindibili.
</div>
<div>Per questo motivo ho deciso di supportare il Collettivo Rewilding Sicily, un gruppo di persone appassionate e coraggiose che puntano a rendere la Sicilia più verde, più selvaggia e più consapevole. Il Collettivo lavora su piccoli progetti che vogliono essere pratici, facilmente ripetibili e che rigenerino piccole comunità locali. I metodi principali utilizzati sono l’agroforestazione, la lotta agli incendi, il pascolo rigenerativo, il rewilding (rigenerazione ambientale).

<div>I fondi raccolti verranno utilizzati per:

<div>•	Riforestare zone soggette a incendi, erosione, agricoltura industriale,

<div>•	Rigenerare comunità umane, rendendole resilienti agli incendi e al disboscamento
</div>
<div>•	Istruire la popolazione, aumentando la consapevolezza e l’etica della Terra.

<div><strong>Il Collettivo ha bisogno del nostro supporto adesso</strong> in quanto luna nuova estate sta per iniziare e la Sicilia è in ginocchio da un punto di vista idrico per via delle poche piogge. Il programma di mitigazione degli incendi e riforestazione viene già messo in pratica presso diverse comunità ed il Collettivo Rewilding Sicily è in grado di replicarlo altrove con davvero pochi fondi.

<div><strong>Puntiamo a raccogliere 2000 Euro </strong>in quanto questa cifra permetterà al Collettivo di estendere il loro programma di mitigazione degli incendi e riforestazione ad almeno altre 2 aree boschive in Sicilia.

<div>Last July, between the 24th and the 27th, we lived an unprecedented nightmare: hundreds of separate wildfires were burning across the region and temperatures peaked up to 47 ºC. The province of Palermo was the most severely hit: more than 15,000 hectares were burned in 4 days. Only in 2023, wildfires destroyed more than 60,000 hectares in Sicily (20% were forests).

<div>The emergency continued constantly until October 2023 creating enormous disasters.

<div>Every summer, the wildfire emergency gets worse and worse making prevention and reforesting crucial.
</div>
<div>That's why I decided to support the Collective Rewilding Sicily, a group of passionate people who aim to make Sicily a greener, wilder, and more conscious place. They work on small projects that are meant to be practical, easily repeatable and regenerate small local communities and their love for the land they live in.
</div>
<div>Their main practices are agroforestry, firefighting, regenerative grazing and rewilding.
</div>
<div>Funds raised will be used to:
</div>
<div>- Reforest areas prone to fire, erosion, industrial agriculture
</div>
<div>- Regenerate human communities, making them resilient to wildfires and deforestation
</div>
<div>- Educate the population, increasing Earth awareness and ethics.
</div>

<div><strong>They really need our support now</strong> as a new summer is about to start and Sicily is already knocked out by the drought. The wildfire mitigation &amp; reforestation program is already in place in many communities and the Collective Rewilding Sicily is able to extend it to more and more areas with very little money. We can all make a big impact by donating what we can.
