Binta ist nun seit Juli in Deutschland und wir warten immer noch auf den endgültigen Operationstermin. Bei der Herzkatheter Untersuchung hat sich herausgestellt, dass die Missbildung am Herzen noch komplexer ist als angenommen. Dazu kam nun, dass Binta eine Infektion in der Hüfte bekam, eine Folge des Herzkatheter Eingriffes. Nun haben sich die Kosten erheblich erhöht und wir müssen weiter um Spenden fragen.

Binta has been in Germany since July and we are still waiting for the final surgery date. Cardiac catheterization has revealed that heart failure is even more complex than previously thought. In addition, Binta got an infection in the hip, a consequence of the cardiac catheter procedure. Now, the costs have increased significantly and we must continue to ask for donations.
Binta Jarju suffers from a birth defect called Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) . This means her heart is not working proper, the wall between the heart chambers is leaking and so body does not get sufficient blood supply. Her life is in danger all the time, the heart works very hard, The opening is large, and the child breathe faster and harder than normal. She has trouble feeding and growing at a normal rate. High pressure may occur in the blood vessels in the lungs because more blood than normal is being pumped there. Over time this may cause permanent damage to the lung blood vessels. And her system is weak. Last week Binta want with her Dad Musa Jarju to Dakar. And the doctor is recommending a heart sugery as soon as possible, as Bintas life is in constant danger
