Family of Olivia Mendez

On the evening of Saturday, May 25th, Olivia Mendez was killed when the family's vehicle was struck by drag racers. The family was returning home after Olivia's 4th grade graduation ceremony, and turning on to their home street.
Both of Olivia's parents were hurt badly in the crash, her father suffering from internal bleeding and a broken nose, and her mother suffered a collapsed lung and broken ribs. Olivia's 3yr old sister was also hurt, but was fortunately just released from the hospital.
We are asking for donations for the family to do as they see fit, whether to be used for medical expenses, legal fees to prosecute the offenders, or a crusade to help the community demand more police involvement to deter such senseless crimes.
My name is Brian Lee, and I am an administrator at Claire's Day School, where Olivia's grandmother and aunt work as dedicated and loving caregivers, and both were interviewed after the tragedy. The school recently hired her mother as well.
Claire's Day School will match up to $2500 of donations, and 100% of the funds will go directly to the family.
