<div>I injured my back badly in January, slipped discs. I had some treatment in the hospital and then was discharged with strong meds. I had to go on and walk etc as much as possible. They discharged me way too soon as I couldn't walk when they did so I had to be carried up to my apartment by the paramedics when I got home.

<div>Months have gone by and the pain is tolerable, and that's while taking cocodamol and morphine, both the strongest dose. I moved to Sweden in July, and I started learning Swedish at a Swedish school. The pain had started getting bad again. I can't work here in Sweden until I have good Swedish. I've been struggling with it as I struggle with learning languages. My back took a turn and started getting extremely bad again.

<div>I went to the doctor and I was sobbing to them, it was very embarrassing. When my injury first happened, they told me if it doesn't heal on its own in a few months, I'll likely need surgery. But I'm 1st of all terrified to get surgery as its very high risk of paralysis and my sister reacted very badly to the anesthetic so I'm worried I might. 2nd I wouldn't be able to afford it.

<div>I've been getting physio, but it costs about £20 each time and they want me to go weekly. My partner is the only one with the income and he has his own things to pay off so we're always left with enough to eat etc. He's paid for physio but i feel so awful not being able to pay it myself. I also have medication to buy, which he pays for at the moment, again it kills me. I get strong pain meds, muscle relaxants and inhaleras for my asthma, which has got so much worse.

<div>They gave me oxycodone (similar to morphine) to try, but I reacted badly to it so they gave me cocodamol. It's been helping a good bit but sometimes the pain is unbearable and it goes down my leg and gives me cramps and pins and needles, it's horrible.

<div>On top of this, I have barely any clothes. I know a lot of girls say that and they have loads, but not me. I gained a lot of weight due to severe depression and this injury, so had to get rid of 90% of my clothes when I moved. I don't have money to get new clothes, so I have to wash clothes more often to have clothes. Any time i get money, if i have some left over, it goes towards clothes but it has only got me a t-shirt, or jeans so far, so only 1 or 2 things each time.

<div>I have 1 pair of shoes which is not ideal as they're getting worn out and I live in a country where I need a few pairs for different weather, I really need winter shoes. I slipped and fell in the ice here before and i don´t think i should risk that with my back now. the weather is very icy at the moment. I also really need a winter jacket, since the temp has been -11 and is always very cold. I have 1 jacket but its ripped in a lot of places and is too small so I can barely breathe in it which doesn't help my asthma.

<div>This is really not helping my mental health and I just don´t know what to do anymore, I feel so broken.

<div>Update: I now need medication for my mental health as it has gotten too bad. this costs for gp visits and prescription.
