<div>En dos meses se cumplirán 5 años desde que mi vida cambió por completo. Cinco años viviendo con crisis de dolor constantes, intensas y desgastantes, sin un diagnóstico claro, a pesar de haber acudido a innumerables especialidades: pediatría, urgencias, medicina familiar, neurología, neurocirugía, angiología, cardiología, reumatología (pediátrica y de adultos), medicina interna, gastroenterología, clínica del dolor y rehabilitación.

<div>He pasado por una cantidad inmensa de estudios, consultas y tratamientos. Lo único que han podido hacer hasta ahora ha sido mantenerme medicada, cada vez con fármacos más fuertes y en mayores dosis para poder soportar el dolor. Hoy dependo de medicamentos como morfina, buprenorfina, pregabalina y carbamazepina, no para vivir cómodamente, sino simplemente para resistir el día y la noche. Yo era enfermera y auxiliar administrativa, amaba ayudar a otros… pero fui despedida.

<div>Mi mamá ya no puede trabajar porque dedica su tiempo completo a cuidarme y ayudarme a movilizarme. Hay noches enteras de llanto, de dolor que no deja dormir, de preguntas sin respuesta y de un cuerpo que no descansa.

<div>Actualmente necesito 12 estudios médicos, con un costo que supera los 15 mil pesos, indispensables para intentar encontrar por fin la causa de todo esto. Hoy no tengo forma de cubrirlos. Papá es el único que trabaja para sostenernos a los cuatro; gana alrededor de 3 mil pesos a la semana, y solo mis medicamentos llegan a costar hasta 1,000 pesos semanales. Simplemente ya no alcanza. Aun así, no perdemos la fe. Mi hermanita de 10 años, cada año, pide el mismo deseo: salud para su hermana. Ese gesto me rompe y me sostiene al mismo tiempo. Por eso hoy pido ayuda.
