Brandon Hughes Memorial fund

To have been a part of Brandon's life, whether you were related to him or not, was to have felt as though he was family. More than a friend, Brandon was like a brother and a son to many. If you knew him at all, you knew that he was always first - first to lend a hand when you needed help, first to listen to you when you needed to talk and first to crack a joke when you needed a laugh. And often, those jokes could carry on for years, becoming a part of the deep history and connection we all shared with him. Most importantly, Brandon was a loving father to Brooklyn, who was his universe. And though we now know all too well that Brandon struggled with sadness and though we have lost him much too soon, what will remain indelible to us all is his warm, inviting smile.

As Brandon took care of so many of us during his life, we want to return the favor in the aftermath of this great loss. We are asking that you please consider donating to Brandon's Go Fund Me page. All contributions will go toward his memorial services (around $6000) and any remaining funds will go directly toward establishing a college scholarship fund for Brooklyn.
