If you know Bobby, you know he would do anything for anyone. It's his turn to receive that type of friendship.
(Bob does not know we are doing this yet, please help keep it a secret)

One of the hardest things to witness is seeing a love one or friend who is in the hospital with an injury or a medical condition. The friends and family of Bob Zimmerman wanted to do something for him to get him back on his feet financially after his hospital and rehab stay of over 2 months. That is why we set up this GOFundMe page.  On June 13, Bob who was not feeling that good for weeks fell off his bed and was unable to get up.  He was then taken to Elmhurst Hospital(Emergency room), right off the bat they knew there were some big issues, his Blood sugar was extremely high(dangerous level) and he was retaining lots of water, his heart was not working like it should have been.  Congestive heart failure.  So Bobby was admitted in to the hospital on June 13 for testing.  While in the regular room for testing, Bobby was having issues with water retention, which was a ventricular tachycardia, which is an abnormal heart rhythm.  Therefore, Bobby entered the CCU, which would be his home for the next 3 weeks.  On June 22, his 52nd Birthday Bobby had surgery on his hand because the hospital infiltrated his IV.  This is when the IV solutions leaks around surrounding tissue.  On July 3rd Bobby returned to surgery this time the heart was the concern, so they put a defibrillator/Pacemaker in to strength the heart which could no longer function as a normal heart.  So at this time his right hand was bandaged and unable to be used and his left hand was shut down for at least a week because of the defibrillator which meant rehab was now set back at least another week.  It was a total of 35 days in the hospital most of that time in the CCU, he was released from the hospital in late July and sent to rehab where he would spend the next 3 weeks rehabbing his body back in to shape.  He finally walked out of rehab in late August.  Glad to be home Bobby was unable to start working for at least another month and the bills were building up from not only being in the hospital  and rehab for two months but also not being able to work in that time frame.  So the bills kept adding up, so that leaves us to this page, this page is a way for Bob to get his life back, paying bills that accumulated over this time period have put a financial burden on his personal wellbeing.  So we ask for your help, the Family and friends of Bob Zimmerman to give whatever you can to help relieve him of this extreme financial burden.
