<div>Esteban, sufrió un paro cardiaco.

<div>Llegó al hospital sin signos vitales y gracias a Dios y al equipo médico lograron reanimarlo. Hoy se encuentra en terapia intensiva en estado muy grave, esperando estudios que nos indiquen el posible daño cerebral y el alcance de las secuelas.

<div>No es la primera batalla que enfrenta.

<div>Hace un año y medio sufrió un infarto cerebral del cual logró salir adelante después de más de cinco operaciones y un proceso largo de rehabilitación. Desde entonces, su vida ha sido una lucha constante. Cada día lo ha enfrentado con una fuerza y dignidad que nos inspira profundamente.

<div>Nuestro seguro médico no cubre su padecimiento del corazón por ser una enfermedad preexistente. Después de meses enfrentando cuentas hospitalarias imposibles de sostener, comenzamos a atenderlo en el Hospital Siglo XXI para poder continuar con su tratamiento.

<div>Pero esta vez fue distinto.

<div>El día del paro, estábamos en camino al Siglo XXI pero empezó con una crisis convulsiva y tomamos la decisión de llevarlo al hospital más cercano el Hospital Ángeles, y apenas logramos llegar para que lo reanimaran.

<div>Hoy estamos enfrentando gastos muy elevados de terapia intensiva, estudios neurológicos, medicamentos y procedimientos urgentes.
