Desde que inicié mi carrera descubrí mi pasión por la investigación en el área ambiental, la cual he cultivado durante los últimos tres años desarrollando un proyecto enfocado en la búsqueda de alternativas para la degradación de contaminantes emergentes.

<div>Este año tuve la oportunidad de enviar mi trabajo y fue aceptado para ser presentado en el XXVII Congreso Latinoamericano de Microbiología – ALAM 2025, que se llevará a cabo en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, del 12 al 14 de noviembre. Será mi primera participación en un congreso internacional y representa un paso muy importante para cumplir mi sueño de dedicarme a la investigación científica.

<div>Mi proyecto se titula: “Evaluación del crecimiento de Klebsiella sp. IBU-8 para la degradación de ibuprofeno como única fuente de carbono en condiciones in vitro”. Con él busco aportar a la creación de procesos de biorremediación que permitan enfrentar la problemática de los contaminantes emergentes.
