<div>En el estado de Veracruz, las lluvias torrenciales recientes han provocado inundaciones severas que han devastado muchas comunidades rurales. Se han registrado más de 16,000 viviendas dañadas y al menos 42 localidades con acceso limitado debido a carreteras bloqueadas o derrumbes.

<div>En <strong>Ilamatlán</strong>, y congregaciones Zontecomatlan, Xaltipa, Huayacocotla, Texcatepec, embocadero la situación es crítica. Las carreteras que la conectan con las comunidades cercanas están destruidas u obstruidas, lo que impide que lleguen apoyos esenciales como alimentos, agua potable, medicamentos y materiales de construcción. Muchos habitantes han perdido sus hogares o han quedado gravemente dañados.

<div>Esta comunidad tiene para mí un valor especial: nació ahí mi padre, y sé lo difícil que es para ellos recibir ayuda cuando están tan lejos. Las lluvias y las inundaciones los han dejado aislados. No pueden esperar a que el gobierno actúe porque el tiempo corre. Necesitan apoyo desde hoy.
