<div>El martes 24 por la mañana, nuestra querida Val fue atropellada. Todo ocurrió en cuestión de segundos. Ella no recuerda claramente lo que pasó; solo sabe que cuando reaccionó estaba en el suelo, desorientada y sin poder moverse, mientras personas a su alrededor intentaban auxiliarla hasta que llegó la ambulancia.

<div>Fue trasladada de emergencia al hospital, donde comenzó un proceso médico intenso e inesperado. Al ingresar a urgencias, los doctores confirmaron que tenía múltiples golpes en el cuerpo. Presentaba una herida en la cabeza que necesitó suturas inmediatas. Después de realizarle estudios y radiografías, determinaron que su brazo estaba fracturado y requería cirugía urgente.

<div>Ese mismo día fue preparada para quirófano. Entre el miedo, el dolor y la confusión del momento, tuvo que enfrentar una operación que no estaba en los planes de nadie. Además, tiene contusiones severas en la pierna y un esguince en el pie, por lo que ha necesitado monitoreo constante, medicamentos, estudios y atención especializada.

<div>El problema es que Val no cuenta con seguro médico. La cuenta del hospital —que incluye urgencias, cirugía, honorarios médicos, estudios, medicamentos y días de atención— ha resultado muy elevada. Es una carga económica completamente inesperada que en este momento la sobrepasa.

<div>Por eso estamos creando esta campaña para apoyarla a cubrir los gastos hospitalarios derivados de este accidente. Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que sea, hará una gran diferencia y la ayudará a liquidar la deuda médica que enfrenta.
