<div>Félix es nuestro hermano más pequeño y el único varón después de 3 hermanas, a sus 38 años de vida ha padecido por 18 años las secuelas de un <strong>tumor cerebral maligno</strong>. Félix ha sido, a pesar de su condición, un joven alegre, positivo y muy paciente. A sus 20 años que le detectaron el tumor, desarrolló una <strong>hidrocefalia</strong>, quisieron extraer el tumor pero no pudieron, entró en coma por dos meses y la esperanzade vida era de un 2%, recibió radioterapia y quimioterapias, han pasado casi 18 años y Félix sigue luchando. Por 16 años su salud se mantuvo estable a pesar de las secuelas, fue el año pasado que al taparse la válvula ventrículo peritoneal que tiene en el cerebro, volvió al hospital (ISSSTE) donde ha tenido que pasar por <strong>6 cirugías de cambio de válvula al no resultar ninguna eficiente</strong>, se continúan tapando y ocasionando hidrocefalia y a su vez daño en su cerebro y un retroceso motriz, a tal grado que a partir de enero ya no pudo deglutir y tuvieron que ponerle una sonda gástrica por la cual se alimenta, a causa de eso sufre de una <strong>desnutrición severa,</strong> se ha quedado sin hablar y sin movimiento. A toda esta jornada de frustración y tristeza familiar el 27 de junio se sumó otro dolor para nuestra familia al perder a nuestro padre por un derrame cerebral, hubo un momento en que los tuvimos internados a ambos luchando por sus vidas.

<div>La petición que hoy hacemos es para ofrecer a Félix una oportunidad para que pueda ser operado en un hospital privado con la esperanza de que sea la solución para que la válvula al fin quede funcionando y el pueda recuperar su salud.
