<div>Hola, somos el equipo de robótica <strong>STEAMex Overheat 11065</strong>. Somos el <strong>primer equipo comunitario de FIRST Robotics Competition en la Comarca Lagunera, México</strong>. Nuestro equipo participa en la más grande competencia de robótica a nivel mundial, con más de 3500 equipos y 700,000 participantes en más de 30 países. Actualmente nuestro equipo cuenta con 11 miembros, los cuales provienen de los municipios de Torreón, Gómez Palacio y Lerdo. ¡<strong>No solo construimos robots</strong>! También hemos realizado más de 30 proyectos de impacto social que benefician nuestra comunidad a través de la inspiración de la ciencia y la tecnología.

<div>Hicimos nuestro debut en la clasificatoria “Regional Monterrey” en marzo, y gracias a nuestro rendimiento con un 7mo lugar general y el premio “<strong>Rookie All Star</strong>”, recibimos nuestra invitación por clasificación en el ranking global al <strong>Campeonato Mundial FIRST 2026</strong> a realizarse en Houston, Texas, EUA del 29 de abril al 02 de mayo.

<div>Aunque esta es una gran noticia para el equipo, los costos para poder asistir a este magno evento internacional superan las posibilidades económicas que actualmente tenemos. Buscamos recaudar suficientes fondos para <strong>cubrir nuestros los gastos del viaje</strong>. Actualmente estamos en búsqueda de recursos para cubrir con gastos de transportación, hospedaje y alimentación. Aunado a ello, también buscamos recursos con los cuales podamos adquirir herramienta básica y material de almacenamiento para poder llevar a esta y el resto de nuestras competencias.

<div>Siendo un equipo comunitario, <strong>no contamos con el apoyo</strong> de una institución educativa o una empresa que respalde nuestros gastos, por lo que es muy importante el apoyo de la comunidad para solventar estos escenarios. Pero, ¡no nos rendimos! Queremos representar a México con mucho honor y pasión, demostrando que la robótica es para todos, sin limitantes ni obstáculos que permitan vivir esta gran experiencia de crecimiento personal, académico y social. ¡Apóyanos a lograr nuestro sueño y únete a la voz del cambio: <strong>STEAMex Overheat</strong>!

<div>Hi, we are FRC team STEAMex Overheat 11065. We are the <strong>first community-based team</strong> of FIRST Robotics Competition in the Comarca Lagunera region of Mexico. Our team competes in the largest robotics competition in the world, with more than 3,500 teams and 700,000 participants across over 30 countries.

<div>Currently, our team is made up of 11 members from the municipalities of Torreón, Gómez Palacio, and Lerdo. <strong>We don’t just build robots!</strong> We have also developed more than <strong>30 social impact projects</strong> that benefit our community by inspiring interest in science and technology.

<div>We made our debut at the “Monterrey Regional” qualifier in March, where we achieved an impressive 7th place overall finish and earned the “Rookie All-Star Award.” Thanks to this performance and our global ranking, we received an invitation to the <strong>2026 FIRST World Championship</strong>, which will take place in Houston, Texas, USA, from April 29 to May 2.

<div>While this is an incredible opportunity for our team, the costs of attending this international event exceed our current financial capabilities. We are actively working to <strong>raise funds to cover travel expenses</strong>, including transportation, accommodation, and meals. Additionally, we are seeking support to acquire basic tools and storage materials needed for this and future competitions.

<div>As a community-based team, <strong>we do not have the backing</strong> of an educational institution or a company to cover our expenses, making community support essential for us to move forward. However, we refuse to give up. We are determined to represent Mexico with pride and passion, proving that robotics is for everyone, without limits or barriers, and that it can provide a powerful experience for personal, academic, and social growth.
