<div>El <a href="https://cecam.org.mx/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Centro de Capacitación Musical y Desarrollo de la </a> Cultura Mixe (CECAM) es un espacio único en el mundo; es un centro de enseñanza de música filarmónica, compuesta por instrumentos de viento, cuyo objetivo es fortalecer, mejorar y difundir la tradición musical y artística de los pueblos mixes.

<div>Gracias al <strong>CECAM </strong>y al esfuerzo de las comunidades, la música filarmónica ha florecido en la región, lo que ha dado lugar a la existencia de bandas filarmónicas de calidad en muchos pueblos de la zona.

<div>El <strong>CECAM</strong> ofrece una amplia gama de programas educativos que incluyen: a) Educación Musical Infantil, b) Inducción Musical y c) Técnico Profesional en Música Tradicional de Oaxaca. Actualmente, la escuela cuenta con más de 180 alumnos, con edades comprendidas entre 6 años y 25 años, sin embargo no se discriminan la edad de ingreso.
