Ollie Needs A Bedroom

Hello, we’re the Meredith family, we have a very special little boy called Ollie who unfortunately suffers from a very rare genetic condition called pallister killian syndrome. As Ollie is getting bigger and heavier we are struggling to bath him and get him around the house. Ollie now weighs 15.76 kl and according to guidelines at 16 kl we will need to start hoisting him in and out of seating and the bath, at the moment we don’t have the necessary room to have hoists fitted into our house. We need to build an extension for a new bedroom/wetroom for Ollie to make not only his life but our lives easier aswell.Due to budget cuts there is currently no funding available for the adaptations we need in order for Ollie to have a normal a life as possible. We have done some very successful fund raising in the past in order to get Ollie the equipment he needs.Ollie is a very happy beautiful little boy who will turn 4 in June! We have had some very hard times with Ollie and he has battled through lots of illnesses where doctors have prepared us for the worst and we have even been transferred to ty hafan hospice for end of life care with Ollie and he has pulled through like the strong little trooper he is! We don’t know what the prognosis is for Ollie as he is very unique as has defied all of the doctors expectations. We treasure every moment we have with Ollie and count him as a blessing, this is why we would like to make his life as easy and carefree as we possibly can.
