Blessings, my name is Leslie Montoya and I am a family friend of the Vidal-Romero family. Many other co workers and I are raising money for Yeny and her family through this crisis they have encountered. Yeny is first and for most a mother to 6 amazing kids and dog owner to 7 energetic pups. As a single mother she has raised her kids all on her own working hard to give them a loving and nourishing home. She is not only an incredible mother but a wonderful person through out.
With the beginning of a New Year Yeny was ready to continue working hard for her family and raise enough money to buy a home of their own... All of her hopes and dreams were ripped apart when she was taken to the ER on January 4th 2018. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, kidney failure, and lung infection. The infection has spread through out her body and has reached her brain. She has been hospitalized in ICU at Banner University Hospital for a week now. She is plugged in into different machines, tubes, and Ivs. We’re unsure of how long she is going to be in the hospital since she hasn’t made any improvements and is still unresponsive. Doctors do estimate her stay and recovery to be a while.
As of right now her two oldest daughters, Mercy and Valerie, are the ones stepping up and taking responsibility of all the bills, rent, kids, and decisions regarding their mothers health. That is such a huge responsibility for an 18 and 21 year to handle so suddenly. They currently attend school and work a minimum wage job so they’re barely able to meet expenses. This Go fund me is solely to help the family with expenses, rent, and future hospital bills. Through this fund we’re continuing the fight of a mother who currently cannot fight for the ones she loves. We are fighting for Yeny and to keep a loving family at ease through this crucial moment. So as a mother, daughter, brother, son, husband, or just a person with a generous heart lend a hand and help us fight.
