Haiti has some of the saddest statistics surrounding pregnancy and birth in the western hemisphere.
---12% of all babies die before their first birthday
---one third of all children die before their fifth birthday
---one in 71 women dies in pregnancy or childbirth.
We are raising funds for a humanitarian trip planned this November. We will be volunteering at MamaBaby Haiti (http://www.mamababyhaiti.org/). The donated funds will be used to purchase supplies we will bring to the clinic, and to defray our travel expenses. We appreciate your support.
