Autistic boy Transportation stolen

Hi, my name is Phyllis Smith, and I have a son name Gabriel, who has Epilepsy, autism and is non-verbal. On July 21, I went out to check the mail around 10am and noticed our car was stolen. I called the police, and they are doing things on their end but its a waiting game to see if the car will be found and I'm worried it will never be found or if it is recovered it may be badly damaged. I'm in shocked and stressed out because I still can not believe something like this has happened, especially when school is starting in a couple weeks and Gabriel has alot of Dr. appointments coming up. He does not do well on public transportation, he tends to yell and gets other passengers upset. I'm worried because I dont know how I will get him to his Dr. appointments and other needs. He likes to go for a daily ride eveyday, but now he's going to be out of routine and it will be a struggle for him. I try to tell him mommy no longer has a car ,but he doesnt understand, he just wants to go for his usual ride.
Our car was found 4 weeks later, parked behind a church in Burlington, Ky. I got it back home and a friend fixed it up for me, (new brakes, new tires, tune-up ect...) and we put the THE CLUB on the steering wheel. The thief broke the steering column and I have to start it with a screwdriver. I booked all of my son's Dr appointments again.
Then On September 4, I got up to start our day and looked out the window and THE CAR WAS STOLEN AGAIN ! It has to be the same person and how he drove off with the Club on the steering wheels is a mystery. I'm in desperate need and this person is taking advantage of a disable child. We are on a fixed income and its expensive taking cabs to Dr. appointments. If anyone see's this car please report it to the Covington Police Dept immediately. It has a Autism license plate and a Beatles & Rush sticker on the back window.
