Weight Loss Journey

Hello, my name is Blake Ironside, 26 years old. I NEVER ask for hand outs and have to swallow my pride even at the attempt of this but over the past few years I began a journey of living a healthy lifestyle to change my life for the better. One day I looked in the mirror at 315lbs. of an unhealthy, morbidly obese person and decided it was time for a change, not only for my looks but more importantly my health. Not just for unwanted glares from judgmental people and watching them murmur about my appearance behind my back, even to my face at times, but more importantly I need to do this for me. Over the past 5 years I've been able to healthily lose 120+lbs with extremely hard work at the gym and most importantly a lifestyle change of healthy eating, not "dieting". Now in many cases of extreme weight loss, excess skin becomes an issue. I am now in process of trying to accumulate the money needed to have a procedure done to remove the excess skin that weighs down on me day in and day out, not only physically but psychologically as well. Many who haven't walked down this road to weight loss may not understand the mental and physical wear this takes on your body and mind after coming so far. So I ask, to help me finish this journey.
