Sissy's Emergency Medical Expenses

Sorority Sister LJS "Sissy" was born on May 11, 2015 with severe complications due to placentitis with the causitive agent being nocardia bacteria with fungal properties.  She's been fighting for her life ever since.  Round-the-clock veterinary care from Equine Veterinary Services and New Bolton Center have finally helped her to stabilize, but bills now amount over $12K.  She will need continuous care and therapy as her eyesight has not returned and she suffers from ataxia and skin abscesses with secondary infections.  Future treatment will include hydrotherapy and time in a hyperbaric chamber.
This little filly is definitely a fighter!
