AuTasty (Asd Eaterie)

For many years we have had a vision, our love for someone on the spectrum has often raised issues especially when wanting to eat out as a family, with this in mind we have a dream, a dream to open Fife's first ASD friendlier Eaterie.
Using our own knowledge and the knowledge of other parents and carers in the community we are hoping to offer a sensory adapted environment with a menu thait excites and delights everyone.
We will not only be offering fab food we will be creating jobs and it is our intention to employ staff on the spectrum to complement the qualified staff. Not only does this mean learning new skills it also means teaching our qualified staff new skills and develpoing their awareness of Asd.
We already have a venue in mind and have had a fab response from parents and carers, we have recieved recipies and suggestions from many, all of which we are implementing to make our little project as close to perfect as possible for all. Starting off small, if succesful we aim to move to a larger premises and hopefully educate other restaurants in the needs of people on the spectrum. This really could be something and one of a kind, but we need your help.
In order for this to happen we need to raise funds, we need equipment and specialist sensory adaptions. Please share our appeal and help us make this dream a reality for all.

enterprise and will be donating 10% of our annual profit to other charities and groups.
The name AUTASTY was suggested by a young man on the spectrum, we think its fab and have decided to name the restaurant this and will make a facebook page shortly so that you can see how we are progressing.
