Saco Food Pantry Walk-in Cooler
Tax deductible
Hello my name is John White. I am the Operation Director for the Saco Food Pantry (a non-profit). We are raising funds to make the newly constructed walk-in cooler function at an operational temperature of 34 to 38 degrees. This cooler will allow the pantry to keep food fresher for a longer period of time and allow for more families to benefit from and have access to the food. The cooler has been constructed and needs a condenser and evaporator supplied and installed by HVAC personnel. We could install the indoor and outdoor units if we had them, but we still cannot connect the system together as we are not licensed to make it work or function.
It will cost about 4000 dollars to complete the unit with cooling.
The other part of the project we had hoped to complete was to remove a section of wall in the main room but due to cost restrictions this was voted down by the board as it was decided that the wall could stay as is and not be a problem and the project changed to just getting the walk-in cooler working.
Your help is greatly appreciated
