Ashlie's Miracle

My daughter is 22 years old and has been battling a rare bone cancer (mesenchymal chondrosarcoma) a month after her 18th birthday, right out of high school. She is a beautiful person inside and out and has had a wonderful attitude during this journey and her faith has touched many lives along the way. Even though she is the one fighting this battle, she has been a rock to many. MDAnderson has been great but they have run out of options. We have recently reached out to Cancer Treatment Centers of America and they have given us more options. Although it's been hard, we have been fortunate enought to have been able to make it financially going back and forth to Houston, but because we will be having to travel much further to Arizona, finances are going to be more of a struggle. My work has been really understanding about me missing so much work these past four years but any time I take off I have to take FMLA which means I don't get paid for time off. Anyone who is a parent knows I will do whatever I have to to keep my daughter here with me. She is not only my daughter, she is also my best friend. I also have a 3 yr old son as well and he is extremely close to his sissy and needs her in his life so we hope and pray that these new trials will be succesful in prolonging her life until there is a cure. She is my first born and my only daughter. The money I am asking for will not only help with medical expenses for what my insurance doesnt cover but also for the expense of travel so that we are able to make these trips and,  God willing, save my daughter's life. I not only ask for financial support but I strongly ask for your prayers as well.  God performs miracles daily.
