Keep Moving Forward

KEEP MOVING FORWARD - Phase One of a Capital Campaign to raise $25,000 for necessary repairs to our historic Ewa Community Church. Built in 1937, the sanctuary is part of the Ewa Villages Historical District. The Campaign will run from Sunday, July 26 to Sunday, December 27, 2015.

We are asking you today to step out in faith, commitment and financial support to save Ewa Community Church. Please prayerfully consider how much you can contribute accordingly.

A preservation grant from the Freeman Foundation, administered by Historic Hawaii Foundation, jumpstarted the process of restoration, renovation and electrical upgrading of the sanctuary. That will cover the repainting of the building exterior, repairs to front entrance and steeple, and upgrading aged electricals, replacing the breaker boxes to current code. Without help right now, the deterioration will get to a point beyond repairs.

There's a spirit building in our congregation, as we welcome new faces, renew friendships with old friends and seek the revival of communion with Christ Jesus as we reach into our community with worship and service. This is God's house; we must honor and protect it in its physical capacity as we use it to manifest ourselves to God's glory.
