When I did my fundraiser last year the money you raised helped me get through one of the hardest times of my life. It bought me new clothes after my mastectomy, paid my rent, and allowed me to ocassionally treat myself to a fancy dinner when I wasn't near puking.
This year I'm hoping you'll help me again. I'm at the end of my masters degree in Creative Writing. Somehow I managed to slog through it, even during chemo, without taking any time off, and I'm almost at the finish line. As someone who was accepted onto the course on the basis of my work, and without a first degree, this means so much to me.
Sadly cancer is expensive and my savings are gone. My university has no funds left to help me pay my fees, and being unemployed means I don't qualify for a loan. I have worked so hard to get here, through all my cancer treatment, that it would be so disappointing if I had to give up now.
If you can, please do help me pay these fees and graduate.
