My nephew Zacharie Schaubhut passed away doing what he loved most....playing baseball! He was such a bright and becoming young man. Please help out his mother and family to cover the costs of the funeral and medical expenses. Forever in our hearts and forever on our minds Zach! We love you!!

From his mother:

The blessed memory of Zacharie Schaubhut will forever remain in my heart until the day I die. This boy was my pride and joy. He was full of energy and persistence...to fight the fight of LIFE! He had a heart of gold. His legacy will continue to echo in the lives of every person he touched. His passion for baseball was amazing, he would do whatever it took to be on the ball field every day if he could. (He even sold his Xbox just to purchase a bat for the s...eason.) He was determined to go Pro someday! He was a magnificent pitcher on the mound (the irony is that when he was born he had a broken clavicle bone which obviously healed up). He was my helper. I rarely had to ask for his help around the house. He would mow the lawn, shovel the driveway, load the dishwasher and take out the trash without being asked. He hated school but rarely missed a single day as he knew he just had to "gitt-er-done" so to speak. He recently passed his driver's permit test only taking it twice and getting only two wrong, despite not even studying. He never touched a book to read it. Common sense smart he was! He was always a go-getter...didn't like to sit around and do nothing. He was also a thinker...ask him a question and he wouldn't answer immediately, had to think about it. He looked up to his Grandpa Steve (G- pa) and Uncle Dan so much, wanted to be just like them. He would ask questions all the time how they did this or that wanting to figure out how he could accomplish that in his future. He talked about going into the Marines so that his college would be paid for and Mom wouldn't have to struggle. He always worried about mom (me). Yes, he was stubborn and head strong majority of the time but he had a heart of pure gold. Always showed respect to strangers and gave his best efforts to anything coming his way. A true fighter to the end. He was my only child with blue eyes, oh to see the world through his eyes! I will miss him tremendously. My heart is broken and only God can mend the wounds but a reminder he is in a better place, playing ball, playing Xbox, eating Chinese, exploring the forest and fishing on the lake. I am humbled at all the heartfelt responses and condolences regarding the loss of my son and ever grateful you all reached out. Thank you for being a part of the remarkable life of Zach and consider this a celebration of it despite not understanding why it happened. We cannot question the works of the Great Creator up above. He will get us through this storm, look behind at only one set of footprints in the sand, he is carrying us. Miss you and love you my son- Zacharie Tyler Joseph Schaubhut, You will forever hold a special place in my heart.

We want to thank everyone for the wonderful support in this hard time. It is amazing how much Zach touches so many lives at such a young age.
