Helping Spence
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I thought it was about time I updated Spencer’s gofundme page. He is 16 years old now!
I have had a number of people asking me recently how they can give some money to help Spencer go on holiday or for more care for him or anything that he needs. Chatting to a friend today they said how they like to give to charity but the money gets lost in the big organisations and they prefer to support local cause. So it spurred me on today to sort this page out. I had left it alone since fund raising for the bathroom as I feel there is only so many times you can call on the kindness of family and friends.
I am currently fighting with the local authority to get more funding for Spence and his needs but as we all know there’s been cutbacks with social care. In the meantime if you feel you would like to help out with the cost of weekend carers or an accessible holiday we would be most grateful.
My youngest son age 11 has now been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD so it’s been a difficult time going through his assessments as well. I have bad arthritis in my knees so find it difficult taking Spence out. However I’ve learnt to crochet, which I love and I’m hoping to sell some of my items to get some Christmas presents for the boys.
Thanks for your continued support.
