I've been invited by the Taoiseach's (Prime Minister of The Republic of Ireland) Office, and the Minister of the Diaspora to attend the 1st International Irish Parliamentarians Forum. A confrence of Irish descendants in political leadership from around the world.
This event is being held in Dublin, September 2-4. All travel and lodging costs must be paid by the attendees.
This invitation came with very short notice and I'm short of funds this summer.
Needless to say this is a very prestigious invitation and it is my understanding only 18 people from Connecticut have been invited. But, I am only working part-time at this point I will not be able to go if I don't find some outside funding.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated. No funds can be acepted from, legislators, state employees or registered lobbyist with the state of Connecticut.
