“I am asking for assistance from businesses and members of the community to help a service that not many people know about.  This organization has assisted over 800,000 children and families combined in Florida since 1982.  They provide a safe place for children ages 10-17 that are at risk, homeless, at risk of running away, have behavioral issues and suffer from depression, etc.  Their building desperately needs some TLC, updated furniture, bedding, equipment and entertainment for the teens to enjoy together when they are not in school.  The staff are skilled members who build trust in the temporary residents and show patience when caring for their daily lives.  I am hoping with your involvement, we can make the facility that hold as many as twenty boys and girls, feel like a home during their stay.  This  program is run at no cost to the families and brings the children back to a place where they can feel like a member of the family and society.  Please help make it a fresh new facility”.Lutheran Services South Florida
