Help &Healing for D Alexandra Dyer

On Wednesday, August 19, 2015, Alexandra Dyer was viciously attacked as she was leaving her place of work in Queens, NY.  An unknown assailant, still at large, threw a coffee cup full of caustic liquid into Alexandra's face, causing 3rd degree burns.  She is hospitalized and will likely require surgery when she is stable.  Her story and the circumstances of the attack have been featured on all of the network news stations in New York City, as well as in all local print media.

We are a group of Alexandra's former high school classmates from The Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica, New York.  Recognizing that she will have a long and difficult road to recovery, we would like to raise funds to assist her with medical as well as daily living expenses while she is recuperating and unable to work. Alexandra has spent her career in the nonprofit sector, working selflessly with individuals marginalized by society. Now she is in need of the supports she has long provided to others.
