Help for Doodlebutt

As some of you may know, Pattye has been out of the office due to a family emergency. Her husband suffered a stroke on the morning of July 4th. He later suffered two more that affected further parts of his brain. He has been in ICU at Vanderbilt but is being moved to a facility where they will be providing end of life care. Sadly, he is not expected to make it. For many of you who did not know Bill he was a tremendous help with the Special Olympics as well as many things at the Home Instead Senior Care office. He helped in a multitude of ways but was one of the biggest volunteers at our annual Be a Santa to a Senior program. We started this gofundme to help her as best as we can with the financial side of things. Many of Bill's family lives in Iowa and his 30 year old daughter lives in California. Pattye has helped many family members with transportation to Tennessee during this difficult time. As a part of being in ICU for nearly 10 days there will be great out of pocket expenses for Pattye and her family. She will be accruing a lot of costs and will be in need of some assistance. If you are able to help in any way, please do so by donating anything you can. We do not expect you to give much and understand if you may not be able but any little bit will help. Please also pray for Pattye and Bill's family during this very difficult time. $1500 will make a small dent in the expenses Pattye will incur but every little bit helps. Help us to meet our goal!

By the way, if you're wondering why its titled Doodlebutt, its because at the office at Home Instead we could always guarantee Bill would walk in to visit his "doodlebutt." :-) We're all going to miss him very much.
